Competitive Team
Our team of dancers are top notch! Our elite competitive team travels and competes at regional and national dance competitions throughout the southern U.S. Our competitive dancers also perform all of their routines in our annual recital.
Each competitive team member trains in multiple areas of dance every week such as technique, performance, strength and conditioning, and more. Competitive dancers take multiple technique classes each week. Dancers will also take weekly rehearsal classes to practice competitive routines.
Aside from the dance training, here at NSDC we focus on our team truly being a team! Every person on the team brings a valuable skill to the table. Our team is a family! competitive team members learn the importance of teamwork, commitment, respect, hard work, and creativity.
Auditions are required to join the NSDC Competitive Team. 2026-2027 Team intensive & auditions will be held on July 26-31, 2026

Do you want to take your dancing to the next level? Then join our award winning competitive team for the! We would love to have you join our competitive team family! Placement auditions and our weeklong intensive are required for all dancers joining the competitive team. We will also host multiple information meetings!
