Do you want to take your dancing to the next level? Join the Natural State Dance Company Competitive Team! Our team of dancers are top notch! Our elite competitive team travels and competes at regional and national dance competitions throughout the southern U.S. Our competitive dancers also perform all of their routines in our annual recital.

Each competitive team member trains in multiple areas of dance every week such as technique, performance, strength and conditioning, and more. Competitive dancers take multiple technique classes each week including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary,  musical theatre, Hip-Hop, and more!. Dancers will also take weekly classes to practice competitive routines. 

Aside from the dance training, here at NSDC we focus on our team truly being a team! Every person on the team brings a valuable skill to the table. Our team is a family! competitive team members learn the importance of teamwork, commitment, respect, hard work, and creativity. 

Auditions are required to join the NSDC Competitive Team. 2024-2025 Team auditions are July 26, 2024. Dancers must also attend the Competitive Team Intensive July 22-25, 2024. A parent and dancer information meeting will be held at the studio before the Intensive July 21, 2024. This meeting is for all planning to join our competitive team.

Annual registration fee of $25 per dancer is built into each dancer's audition fee.
