2026-2027 Fundamental technique & Acro Classes

Fundamental classes at Natural State Dance Company are like no other! We believe that technique is the base for every style of dance. In our fundamental classes, dancers will focus on improving their technique in various genres, including acro, ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, and musical theater. During each class, dancers will learn new terminology, execute dance exercises in the designated genre, work on new combinations of each style, learn dance history, work on stretching and conditioning for dance, and more. 

Each class ranges in length from 30 minutes to 1 hour. 

2026-2027 Fundamental Technique Classes:

Registration is open for this season!

First day of class is Aug. 17, 2026!

Ages 6-11: Fundamental Jumps/Leaps/Turns: Mon. 7:00-7:30pm

Ages 12 & Up:  Fundamental Jumps/Leaps/Turns: Mon. 7:30-8:00pm

*Fundamental technique classes do not participate in our end of the year recital.

2026-2027 Acro Classes:

Registration is open for this season!

First day of class is Aug. 17, 2026!

Ages 3-5: Fundamental Intro To Acro: Mon. 4:30-5:00pm

Ages 6 & Up:  Fundamental Acro 1 (beginner/ early int.): Wed. 4:30-5:15pm

                             Fundamental Acro 2/3 (int/adv.): Thurs. 5:15-6:00pm

*Acro classes will participate in our end of the year recital.

Annual registration fee of $25 per dancer is required to complete registration.
